You can do it!! Don’t be nervous, this is my favourite job I’ve ever had. :) Sure it’s retail, so you’ll get your weiners. but you’ll find them in any job you apply to. During your interview just be yourself, ask about what games the manager plays and what consoles everyone has. there’s no really difficult questions, it’s all about you, so just be honest. :) Wear work casual, so button up top and jeans, or a polo shirt and a sweater. It’s just like any retail job, there will be easy days and there will be days you’ll want to rip your hair out. I currently have my assistant manager training down, and am the team lead. Don’t go into any job expecting it will be easy, or that you can just hang around or you’ll be in for quite a shock. there’s always a lot to do. :3 For EB games as long as you’re generally knowledgeable about most consoles and the games for them you’ll do fine. <3
you can feel the regret in this picture
you can almost taste it
I’m gonna make this right.
it’s just like, why are there cat emojis for loads of emotions as well as normal humans emojis
like, when do i need to express these emotions… but as a cat
they’re not for you… they’re for ME

LOKI IS FUCKGN DUCT TAPED TO THE BED I SIMPLY CANNOT
I don’t think there will ever come a time when I won’t reblog this.
Congrats!! General work attire is jeans and a collared or button up shirt with a plain t underneath, or a sweater. Expect nothing crazy its just retail, so don’t be too nervous. :) And hey, if dudebros start giving you crap? You have every right as an employee to tell them to take their business elsewhere! Don’t be scared to stand up for yourself. :) just be yourself and enjoy your work. Right down games you get asked about often and try them out, its a fun easy way to be amazing at your job. Overall, just be yourself and don’t let weiners get you down. :) xoxo
if you dont have me on facebook you are probably not missing out on any posts but the comment section is important too lmao
I went to the Renaissance faire dressed as a warrior. I had a real sword with me, too. I was standing (in character) next to a sword-fighting ring, where kids of all ages got the chance to pick up a sword and challenge the champion. Some woman walks by, with her little girl. The girl starts walking towards the ring, saying she wants to fight. But the mom pulled her away hella sharply, and was like, “That’s for boys.” You don’t want to be a BOY, do you?” And the girl looked around and saw me. I think she thought I was a boy; I had my hair in a ponytail, and was wearing a hood. So she comes up to me and asks me, “Do you think girls can be fighters, too?” And her mom looks like she’s silently gloating. Like she thinks I’m going to say no. So I take off my hood, untie my hair so that it flows freely, and kneel before her. And I’m like, “Milady, anyone can be a fighter.” I swear, the look on that mother’s face made my day.
